4433 Howley St Community Meeting

Bloomfield Development Corporation hosts open and public community meetings where residents can learn about project proposals directly from developers, ask questions, and express concerns.

All are invited to attend the meeting on Wednesday, December 12th, 6:30PM at the Irma Freeman Center (5006 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15224). The developer of 4433 Howley, Jason Lardo will present a proposal to renovate the current vacant commercial building to create office space as well as reactivate the attached parking lot on the site.

West Penn Hospital Master Plan Community Meetings

West Penn hospital held two community meetings in October about the West Penn Hospital Master Plan. The first on October 10th and the second on October 16th. After the second meeting it was decided that a third community meeting would be held at a later date. When West Penn Hospital chooses a date for their third meeting, Bloomfield Development Corporation will share that information with community members.

Community Conversations & Potluck, 10/22!

A night of conversation about our favorite neighborhood, Bloomfield! Bring a dish to share (or a bag of clementines, or nothing, just get there), and enjoy thinking about and giving feedback on different projects around Bloomfield.

5150 Liberty Avenue Community Meeting

All are invited to attend the meeting on Wednesday, April 4, 6:30PM at the West Penn Hospital Nursing School (4900 Friendship Ave. at the corner of Gross/Friendship). This upcoming meeting is presented in partnership with Friendship Community Group, because 5150 Liberty is also of interest to Friendship residents. The developer of 5150 Liberty, Longboat Enterprises, and architect Ben Maguire will present an updated proposal to build a new, 3-unit residential structure with garage and a parking pad.
